The Impact Crater on Mars
Researchers from cornell, jackson state university and the new university of hawaii have been studying data about the sediment inside the crater. They've bee able to find these huge, weird, 30 foot tall, wave shaped features called mega ripples, also called anti dunes. The entire northern hemisphere of mars is an impact crater. And four billion years ago, a meteor crashed into mars. This was a very big event for mars.
