Do You Really Need to Do Manual Back Testing?

i think there's a lot to be said for paper and pencil. You get that by actually trading, or you get that by sitting down with a chart. But just going through manually and doing manual back testing, there's absolutely a place for that. i do think most people who do the hand back testing probably e could learn more if they did some of the hard ort work. It's a pretty steep wall to climb. And i don't think you have to do it to be successful as a traderother sometimes like vir balls that you not be aware of when you do your bactist with a script.
