The Importance of Time in Film
The difference between reading, whether it's a comic or a book and a movie or TV show is that one is active and one is passive. When you watch a film as great as it is, you're passively engaging with it. But when you read a book, a novel or a comic, you actually have to actively engage with it. And I think that engagement is what builds that connection between the reader or the book and the reader. In books, in comics specifically, I think you have even more control over your storytelling than in a movie.
