Leonardo's Batwing Flying Machine

Leonardo is renowned for his anatomical drawings. Not all of them are entirely forensically accurate. Leonardo really is obsessed by nature. He studies the flow of water and thinks about gravity. And he has an early encounter with a corpse in 1479, specifically the corpse of Juan Bernardo di Bandino Barrancelli who had been involved in a plot to murder members of the Medici family. The dead Bernardo was immortalised in Leonardo's sketchbook along with notes on exactly what he was wearing.
