Sometimes native speakers get a little sarcastic and sarcasm sometimes means using the opposite meaning of the word. Let's do a role play for listeners. In this role play, we're I'm meeting with you, my prospective client. We'll use kind of sort of sarcastically to kind of, it sounds like you're kind of trying to downplay it a little bit because maybe you're a little embarrassed about how jealous you are. Soften it. The same with going to soften saying harsh things. And what would be another example? Yeah. Like just sarcastically to be funny about sort of downplaying how loud something is.
