Who's Your Real Senator From California?

John Federman checked himself into Walter Reed Military Medical Center in mid February for a multi-week inpatient state to deal with severe depression. Not a peep from him personally has been heard since as far as as far as I'm aware. But Federman is somehow still sponsoring legislation. He announced that he's joining his Pennsylvania and Ohio Senate colleagues in sponsoring the Railway Safety Act, a response to the East Palestine derailment. On Thursday, Federman also announced he's introducing a bill to crack down on illegal child labor. And it was news to Diane Feinstein that she's retiring at the end of her term in 2025.
