The Safety of Inflexumab for Kawasaki Disease
We have a lot of experience with this TNF alpha blocker. We really don't see a lot of side effects, gratefully. If that doesn't work and you're still having fevers or if your coronaries are getting worse, we then move on to cyclosporin. That is now an approved drug for Kawasaki disease in Japan. It's not labeled for that here, but we use so much stuff off label, we don't need it labeled in the U.S. But so we feel very comfortable with inflexumab. And it's a single dose. We actually give 10 milligrams per kilo.
