I have been optimistic, but cautiously so, about the way that this is going to be embraced by the my since i saw it. There are still some nominations where i look at it and i go, yes, deserving should be there. I want to believe that the director's branch of the academy is still going to consistently nominate a female directors,. And i do feel that she has the best overall chances of any female director f iseer, to get nominated in that category. But, god help me, i'm still terrified.
