The Importance of Subject Matter in Writing
I think it's up to readers to kind of judge for themselves whether I've done the culture justice um but I don't know. Japan has got a long history of taking things from from other countries and just what adapting them and perfecting them to their own use so I kind of admire that. At times one of the dangers of kind of losing interest in other cultures is that we become insular, he says. He thinks seeing things from a different angle can be useful to everyone.
