How to Learn to Act
I'd love to start a revolution where we stop praising actors who are lazy regardless of the performance. I learned this thing through football, like a wonderful coach that I had called Brian Murphy in Gaelic football. The only thing you can do is control the controllables. And then it's done. You don't have to worry about it. It goes back to that idea that it's a feeling. Because there's so much more,. There's kind of like an emotional process that I think it's very difficult to be in control of. That just comes down to preparation and then you hope on the day that the work, the better work that you've done holds up the performance.
