There was a kind of like vibe shift between, you know, and Eliza Yucowski, right, he's a big kind of AI doom guy. He wrote this book called inadequate equilibria, which was looking at some of these similar questions. Like the primitive by imbuing the fetish God with agency is enabled to actually act towards it in a meaningful way. That often, right, this analysis is sort of all around us. And there's an interesting way in which ... the arbitrariness of the algorithm might in a sense allow us to begin to think this way again in useful, useful ways.
