I Like Free Speech, but I'm Okay With This Restrictions on Libel
I like free speech, but I'm okay with this restriction on libel because if somebody is libelous, then you've got an example of somebody saying something which is really quite significantly harmful. In practical ways, I don't mean that this is something that will cause someone a lot of anxiety. This is a difference in, what's the word, not kind but... Scale or intensity. If there were no libel laws, what the newspapers would have printed, the impact I imagine would have been even greater.
