The Legal Risk of Video Game Preservation
A lot of video game preservation historically has been on individuals without institutional backing or anything. These are individual people who are putting themselves at risk to do work that is often at the very least gray area, if not worse. And let's just be clear too, it's legal risk. The kind of work the forest of allusion was doing is not something that I'm aware of there being any legal action against.
