The Further Adventures of Roblton Crusoe
The Further Adventures of Roblton Crusoe was Daniel Defoe's first attempt at long-form fiction when it came out. The psychological realism of this story that was at least one of its greatest appeals to readership, Yvette says. There were a lot of people who really liked the book of course that's why it went to five editions during the first year that it was published. And I would just add again that he wanted the reader to be able to fully immerse herself himself in the story and actually feel what it means to be the protagonist.
