Gold Is Strong Because of the Dollar, Right?

The way the dollar has been running, it's almost as if there's some sense of a solid sovereign debt crisis coming. If you look at charts for currencies, historically, these kind of big sovereign debt crises tend to first show themselves in extreme currency movement. The reality is very few things can explain gold movement except usually high volatility periods and equities. There tends to be kind of a flight to safety trade that happens on average, kind of like Trezries.
