Kristoff: How do you think B investors can think through the secondary and tertier effects of disruption as they look into deals? Himmel Karthur: Almost everyone can see the impact of the primary force of technology. But to me, it's really the less understood secondary and tertiary effects on other industries where the real value can be generated by private equity investors because it tends not to be fully priced. Things that are not understood in the marketplace tend to be underpriced.
