The Effects of Climate Change on the Heat Dome
Climate change did contribute to last summer's heat dome, but not it may not have caused it. With that said, we do expect heat waves to increase in frequency and intensity going forward. The nights are warmer, the days are warmer, but it's not necessarily going to be 116, 117 degrees a couple times a summer. It was just consistently warm is always consistently in the low to mid 90s.
