My Dad and My Mom Almost Got Kidnapped in Italy

One of my earliest memories and most frightening childhood memories was the time my mom almost got kidnapped in Italy. In reality she wasn't really kidnapped but it pretty much looked like she was. The thief on the moped had just grabbed her by the handbag and was attempting to steal it. My mom being the true child of Yorkshire that she was she kept hold of this expensive handbag determined not to lose it. And what should have been a quick snatch and run turned into something pretty bloody scary.
