The Man of Renunciation
We're going to look at a passage from the gay science, one of my ald time favorites, called excelsior. The first paragraph is placed in quotations, though we have no notion of which character is supposed to be speaking. So make of that what she will, i guess i don't really have a clue for you. Perhaps this very renunciation will also lend us the strength needed to bear this renunciation.
