The Story of Lieutenant Hubbard and the USS PC 815

The Church of Scientology put out fake military paperwork about Elrond Hubbard's service. He was supposed to have been in the Philippines, but his commanding officers decided they hated him so much that they sent him home. But he did talk his way into command of an anti-submarine boat and sank a Japanese submarine off Oregon. The actual military confirmed no evidence I'm giving him doing any of this.
