This past week end, i headed up to wood lawn cemetery and to the site of dorothy parker's new home. Leave for her a red, young rose. Go your way and save your pity. She is happy, for she knows that her dust is very pretty. Her works remain in print more so than they ever were during her lifetime. And just this year, january first, 20 22, forty seven of her poems enter the public domain.
