Sastras - What Is Witness?
Bhagavan has distinguished two senses in which the term witness is used in the Sastras. When we are talking about witness in the sense of the Noah of other things, that witness is ego. But when Brahman is referred to as or our real nature is referred to sakshi, their sakshi is used in a different sense. It is not used in thesense of the Noah, but in the sakshi there means sonnity. Sonnity is present - it is in the presence of ourself as we actually are,. All these things appear only in the view of ego with all these phenomena appearing. So we need to clearly distinguish these two
