You're a Master Artist, You Know?
I think it's, you know, as you develop your process, you're shortening that point between you making a mistake and you're realizing you made a mistake. You might be a much better artist than you think that you are. Just give yourself time, give yourself license to work out those problems in ink. Do something like a still life where you can set it aside and take breaks and come back and don't force yourself to finish it all in the same setting. Then it's still going to be there.
