The Good Teacher Is the Most Apt Person to Lead Others to Repentance
The faithful teach approaches his task very differently from the false ones. A good leader will not make the opposition about him. When people attack him, he draws attention to christ. He corrects opponents with gentleness. All of this requires considerable self mastery. It requires being detached enough from other people that you are not in constant, reactive engagement with them. Such a teacher is the most apt person to lead others to repentance.
