Cost of Living Crisis
In the first two months of this year, calls to our three help line number were up a hundred % on this time last year. The proportion of clients contacting us expressing suicidality is up. And one of our favorite traditions at christengate poverty is when we hear of a client going debt free. But if this cost living crisis really begs in and keeps costing more lives, wat are we going to mark the moment when more people don't make it till when the taxes will get cut?
