A thank you note is a thought wrapped up in an envelope and a piece of paper. It doesn't require their time. They can decide when they want to open it. And once they've received it, having read it, they can receive it multiple times. I mean, u you are in a position to transform somebody's life. Of the many thousands of people whose lives you might transform, that person who's written your thank you note has increased that probability by just a little bit. You're inviting, say, mount everest a little closer into your life. So boy sends you a thankyou note. On the one hand it is just a simple thankyou notice.
