Curriculum compacting is something that i came upon when i started teaching, which is in 19 58. It's about taking out material from the curriculum that either young people already know or can learn quickly and easily than others. And getting rid of that and replacing it with something that reflects the three es. I think that just working on a short piece, i don't know if i seen my short stuff yet or not, to take off on n c l b, no child left behind. That's what causes children to be bored. Therefore they lose good work habits. They lose enthusias for finding out new material on their own.
