Beth Mead has responded to criticism of her comments on the issue of diversity in the England squad. She was asked by the Guardian last week whether having only three non-white players in England's Euro 2022 squad was coincidental or down to a specific reason. On Friday seek to clarify her position saying, my values and beliefs are completely different to what was written. It's not a true reflection of me as a person.
