The Buffalo World Folgers: A Critical Look at American History
Slavery was an essential feature of the Indian Ocean Basin Basin post 1865 certainly pre 1865. It weakened not only the working class globally it weakened the black working class in particular in Dixit just as it does today. I think Du Bois could have addressed more prooffully and I asked my interlocutors to rein me in because maybe I'm making too many critics and not enough praise and applause but which the book hardly merits and deserves.
