A month after rachel's disappearance, a new person popped up in the main chat. Her name was janet, and she wrote in all capitals. She said to mark that she was a real estate agent, but secretly, she was a spy for the british secret service. Mark at this time was extremely vulnerable. He had just lost his girl friend under very suspicious circumstances. But no matter how it happened, she's gone, and he's still grieving her loss privately. And so even though he didn't necessarily believe everything janet was saying, he wanted to believe her, and so he went along with it.
