She says some children have a capacity for resilience for a certain kind of strength. The two of them were very bonded and have remained so throughout their lives. They formed a little team. But I don't think Albert Ellis would have made a good artist or poet. He probably wasn't sensitive enough for that. And if he had, he might have collapsed under the absence of social support. We have to remember in all lives there are those points where there is freedom.
