Is There a Problem With Christian Philanthropy?
Christian philanthropy has a long heritage in Christendom and as a whole for preserving culture, preserving the church, our literature society. A lot of it has come from benefactions of those who have thought wisely and reflected on what they should do with the earthly goods that God has given them. And so like Christian billionaires giving all of their money away, rather than passing it on to their children, gives every dime they have to the church. That seems to me to be a perfectly Christian thing to do.
