Every department has at least one member that hails from a data background. Our job postings, regardless of the role, frequently looks for someone with a background in data. So this model made sense to us and to the rest of the organization when we started to make a push for it. We chartered a dedicated data team in August of 2020. And then we began like this bigger company wide self-service initiative in spring of 2021.
