The Weight of New York City

A new study looked at the weight of New York City, possible contributions to subsidence from anthropogenic sources. They calculated the cumulative mass of more than a million buildings in the city. That worked out to be 1.68 trillion pounds. And this modeling that they did didn't even take into account roads, sidewalks, bridges, what about the weight of people?
