Phillip Zadina has been waived by the Rangers. It's either four or five years since he was drafted as a top five pick. Steve Eiserman, who signed him to a three-year contract last year, believes that his current deal is too high and will not work out in the long run. The team should have given up on their number one pick before his second contract.
