Is It Just Us?
The speaker means that the bright over view light of sommer has been replaced by small, isolated pockets of focus and light. Visibility is low, and strangely, it makes a lot of things more visible. Flaked face of brick, frostbitten verdigree and icicles on statues. Verdigrees, that sort of n oxidization you get on statue. So you's tart noticing all that, because there isn't the big pitcher to notice. A world drawn tight. But then this last line, look up, stars are gone. It's just us. Ah, the relief. We no longer have an ache of holding surface as a clear line named he horizon.
