Introduction

Carlo Broussort: We're going to focus on four details that come from the readings for this upcoming sixth Sunday of Easter, year eight. The first detail comes from the first reading in Acts chapter 8 and pertains to the sacrament of confirmation. Two details found in 1 Peter chapter 3 give us an opportunity to reflect on the importance of the apologetics ministry itself. And lastly, we'll look at John chapter 14 verses 15 through 21 about the importance of good works for our salvation.
