Harrison song seems to be a genuine attempt to hybrodize indian rages and rock music, combining instrumentation modes and rhythmic complexity of some one like ravi shankar. Lyrics that are seemingly inspired by bob dillon and a fairly conventional pop song structure and a tiny bit fus guitar. It's a record that could only be made by someone who properly understood both the indian music he's emulating and the conventions of the western pup song.
