Credit Scores and Credit Reports - What Is a Credit Score?
A critit score is essentially a number n zero and a thousand, that indicates your credit worthiness. The higher the score, the better. Your credit score is determined by your credit report or record. This includes all the times you've give it credit by a bank or some other company. And then how you've paid that off, either on time or not. You'll only have a credit score if you've actually applied for credit - which i think is important to note first. It's best to research the individual companies before making any payments. Otherwise take the general approach to be quite careful with any payments.
