The Perpetual Tragedy of Our History

The Great War was recriscent World War one, and another set of young men were fed into the same monstrous machinery of violence and despair. This cycle persists, each new generation poisoned in mind and spirit by bad influences. There is nothing profound about how we get out of the mess we once again are making of modern society. What we need most right now is for the old guard to take up their weapons of reason, common sense, and experience.
