How to Better Manage Negative Emotions That Come With Big Transitions
negative emotions are not in and of themselves a bad thing, right? The emotion is basically telling you you're unhappy about something and it's a valuable signal. I think where it becomes problematic is where we are doing our best to change the way we feel rather than thinking about the feeling as being a signal. When an emotion affects you, are you able to identify what that emotion is? Are you able to sit with that emotion to say, I'm recognizing that I'm unhappy?"
