Don't pay for storage of stuff that you really don't need or want. List the house and sell it, then go and rent for a year to see if you like Tennessee. Don't bring anything with you but what you need. Bear essentials. Do a bare bones move. You should live for a year without all that stuff and storage and guess what? You won't miss it. And I can tell you that from real experience, you usually don't missing it.
