A lot of stores let people pay with a credit card instead of cash or debit to the store. It is sort of like cash, because they get their money right away. When you use a credit card, you're actually borrowing money from a credit card company. You don't have to have the money in your hand, but you do have to pay it back to the company eventually,. That makes more sense than the card just being free money. And then it's yours, free and easy, right? No, not really. The credit card companyies paying that bill.
