The Importance of Acceptance

We augment behavior to be accepted. You are righteous before God because remember there was a trade. Jesus became your sin and you became his perfection. He was paid for your poor performance and you got the benefits of his perfect performance. In that state, which is probably the most underestimated element of the gospel today, in that state by definition, God cannot deny himself. So not only are you accepted, if God doesn't accept you, he doesn't accept his perfect son, Jesus Christ.
