The Deep Dive in Parenting

Too often, school is about pushing kids through things they don't want to do for a reward at the end or a punishment. Embrace it because focus, like you said, the value is in that process even more than the product. My son Liam was a huge gamer and chess player. When he was playing chess, I literally went to every chess match. He was first board in chess and he was on an amazing international team in gaming. It's very boring but this is my homeschooled child who really wants to learn.
