The Challenges of AI for Diplomacy

DeepMind has been working on AI for the game of diplomacy. The only way that you can win is by convincing other players to work with you. So much of the gameplay is happening in natural language negotiations between these players. And so all these human aspects come into play when we didn't really see that being necessary in poker.
