The Donner's Remake
This is the only one and it is a direct remake, right? Right. The other two are looser remakes. But this is the most original one of them. This is the most direct adaptation. I will say, even though it takes so many chances and changes because it's a chamber piece and it's the same basic. Same ending. And there's no exposition really. We don't start with like the plane taking off. There's a lot of explained backstory. It rules.
