The Impact of the COVID Pandemic on Clinical Trials

I think that we don't talk a lot about what happened to non-COVID ICU related trials during the pandemic. As I said the trial was stopped early again due to pandemic associated challenges. Funding period allowances really truncated the trial because they had intermittently been interrupting uh because of issues in terms of recruitment. It's important that not only do we recognize the clinical impact that COVID had on all of us but also the research impacts.
