The Rise of the Nature Writing Genre

There's been a huge renaissance in nature writing. Some people feel that certain aspects of nature writing can be too much navel gazing. I think it speaks to a kind of spiritual longing to find home to actually recognize that we belong here and the natural world literally grounds us it earths us again.
