What Can We Learn From the Commons?

O'Barrill: I'm looking at struggles around commodity frontiers to see if the commons play or might play a role in attempts to resist the advance and unfolding of these frontiers. The idea of communist urbanization as an alternative form of urbanization based on the logics of the commons rather than the logic of the community explore particularly in these frontier spaces, he says. He is also interested in what we can learn from communal spaces to confront different forms of collapse that some people are announcing for the near future. That's so exciting it has been such a pleasure to talk with you O'Barril thank you so much for being on this show.
